Golf is a very interesting and dynamic sport. So much goes into one day, one round, one shot. It takes different skills from an assortment of areas that are all very different from each other. To be a good golfer, you must be ambitious, patient, and honest.

Some may say that golf is a sport for the old or the weak. You will see many oldies out on the course, early in the morning, getting ready for their 18-hole tee times. Really though, Golf is just a life-long game. You are able to start at basically any age and you would be able to play for the rest of your life.

Golf to me, means so much more than what is at the eye. The golf course is a safe space where I am able to go and let my sadness, anger, compassion, happiness, and so much more out. I am able to forget about everything and focus on myself and the ball.

I would say that many others would completely agree with me. Golf is such a special sport that no other one could come close to. Its an individual sport, family sport, and team sport. You get the best things in life from one thing.

The best way I am able to describe Golf is simply, a way to cope. An hour or two everyday is devoted to myself and the thing I love the most. It pushes me. Pushes me to set goals and become a better person for myself.

When hitting the ball, you line up, focus, settle, and swing. When you hit that ball, everything around you disappears and becomes not important. You get into almost a trance and it honestly became addicting to me. Golf is able to take away stress, anxiety, and so much more. I fell in love with the game of Golf and I will be able to play for the rest of my life. Every single other person at the golf course could say the same.
